Kraftur 10th Year Anniversary
As we celebrate a decade of success, we reflect on the journey that began over a Christmas break ten years ago. Each year brings a well-earned break, allowing us to honour our achievements in Krafting strong futures in concrete construction for our crew, clients, and partners.
A Strong 10 Year Vision
Guided by our purpose of Krafting strong futures, we aim to expand over the next decade by delivering exceptional technical concreting solutions beyond South East Queensland. With a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, our core value-focused crew – led by dedicated leaders who prioritise leadership development – remains our Concrete Advantage®.
Our goal is to be recognised across Australia, delivering over 1 million m² of technical concreting solutions annually.
Achieving the Australian Dream
In 2024, Kraftur® took a significant step by investing in our own facility in Stapylton, the heart of South East Queensland’s growth. We eagerly anticipate our move scheduled for April 2025, marking a vital milestone in achieving the Great Australian Dream of home ownership and success.
Experience at the wheel
This year, we welcomed seasoned manager Paul Ryan to lead our crew and execute our 10-year vision. With his expertise and the implementation of an entrepreneurial operating system, we are well-positioned for continued growth and opportunities for our crew, partners, and clients.
Losing a Mate
The fragility of life was felt deeply with the tragic loss of Marcus, a valued member of our team since our inception 10 years ago. In solidarity and strength, we supported his family during this difficult time. Marcus’s legacy endures, and his dedication was honoured with a special tribute, the Kraftur Forever song, at our annual penalty rates breakfast.
Above the Line Mindset
At Kraftur®, we encourage an above-the-line mindset, moving beyond blame and complacency to foster personal and professional growth. Our life coach, “Uncle Pete,” works closely with our leaders to cultivate intentional and skilful behaviour. Our leadership development program, now entering its third year, focuses on enhancing our leaders as better partners, better parents, better community members, and as better Krafturs of strong futures.
Advanced Manufacturing in Yatala
Visy’s core focus of investing for a better world aligns with Kraftur®’s focus of Krafting strong futures. Kraftur® is thrilled to be part of Visy’s largest investment to date, constructing a state-of-the-art glass plant in Yatala.
Sunrises over 100,000m2 of Concrete
In 2024, we celebrated the completion of a monumental 100,000m² container pavement project at the Port of Brisbane while enjoying stunning sunrises over the bay. Over the years, our crew has delivered over 300,000m² of container pavement across 14 projects, continuously evolving our processes.
Our people are at the core of everything we do, which is why we continue to prioritise fair compensation for our team working family-unfriendly night shifts through dedicated budget negotiations ensuring people who work night shifts receive the correct rates, empowering them with extra cash for themselves and their loved ones.
Krafting Solid Foundations
With a core focus of Krafting strong futures we relished an opportunity to build a solid technical foundation for an advanced Brenton Machine for a specialised manufacturing facility. A complex technically challenging project for the crew where careful planning and accuracy were critical.
M&M Health
Both Mental Health and Men’s Health are ongoing challenges. In lieu of corporate gifts, Kraftur® will make donations to the Black Dog Institute and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia to support these vital causes.
