Kraftur Project Team:

Challenges and Solutions:

  • Challenge - RCC proposed to place ASRS area (10,200m2) which included trimming the subgradebetween 250 pile caps, fixing nearly 825 tonnes of reo and pouring concrete more than >6000m3 in 9weeks due to structural steel on hold as critical path.
  • Solution - Kraftur engagedtwo12Texcavators and3different steel-fixingsubcontractors, twoconcrete pumps to makethishappeninmatterof9weeks. Theprogramming, resourcing andexecution wasmanaged byKraftur construction team out and ensure that works of highest qualitywere carried in such tighter deadlines. This itself was a huge milestone for Kraftur & RCC.
  • Challenge: There was a huge delay in scope of plumbing contractor at North corridor of Externalpavements due to 3kms long drain/stormwater pipelines getting installed. RCC proposed Krafturcrew to see if we could push for 36 pours avg size of 600m2 in month of May’2024 within 24 workingdays.
  • Solution: Kraftur as usual likes to take on challenge which seems difficult, and we managed to get 3sets of external crew for the month of May, getting procurement right, managing multiple crew ofsteel-fixing subcontractor andended up pouring 38 pours by accelerating programme & hand-overdate of head contractor. Kraftur site team did a fantastic job in managing all the 3 sets of crewensuring that pavements of highest quality being delivered
