Overview:

The Sugarmill Warehouse project was a unique project for Kraftur® as it involved a unique design for the internal floors. With a sub-base full of timber piles and concrete piers, fully reinforced Internal slab design and access restrictions for pumping, Kraftur® faced many challenges on the project. However, through good communication and tight coordination with the client, Kraftur® was able to deliver A Concrete Advantage by delivering a great result within a tight scope, resulting in flat floor rating of FF 51 FL 52.

Scope of works:

• Timber pile trimming and pile cap installation.
• Detailed excavation.
• Edgeform, reinforcement and jointing installation.
• Foundations place and finish – 200m3.
• Internal warehouse reinforced slab place and finish – 10,000 m2.
• External pavement, paths and offices – 12,000 m2.
• Concrete pumping and telebelt.
