Challenges and Solutions
Challenge: The project had a tightly scheduled program requiring completion of the container pavements, access pavement, foundations and drainage 10 months after commencement on site.
Solution: Kraftur® utilised its capacity to complete multiple concrete pours each day and overcame this challenge by completing two slab pours for each pour day where container pavements where placed. Kraftur® had 2 concrete crews completing pours each day. The first crew completed the container pavement early morning, and the second crew completed access pavements later in the morning. The programming, resourcing, and execution managed by the Kraftur®’s construction team allowed for on-time delivery of the project.
